ESPN announced Saturday that next week's game between the No. 7 Red Raiders and No. 13 Kansas will play host to College GameDay.
This will be Texas Tech's first time to host the basketball edition of the show and the second overall GameDay conducted from campus following the 2008 football game against Texas.
The 60-minute show, hosted by Rece Davis and featuring analysts Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg as well as Jay Williams, will break down the nation's most prominent college basketball games from United Supermarkets Arena beginning at 10 a.m. Feb. 24. Texas Tech's game will tip at 3 p.m. on either ESPN or ESPN2, but it is subject to a change in start time.
A Texas Tech game, home or away, has never been featured by the basketball version of GameDay. TCU is the only other current Big 12 school to not be featured on the basketball edition of the show.
The Red Raiders defeated then-No. 10 Kansas, 85-73, earlier this season at Allen Fieldhouse. It was the program's first-ever win at the venue.
