The Canyon Independent School District will hold a series of meetings in September and October on the proposed $200 million bond.

The district and a planning committee cite growth in the area as the main reasoning behind the proposed bond for Canyon ISD that would include renovating and expanding current schools and building new ones to keep up with the growing number of students moving into the district.
