Calling all fairies, elves, gnomes, wizards and other magical and mystical creatures! Spend an enchanted evening at the Edinburg Scenic Wetlands and World Birding Center as we celebrate the arrival of summer with a Fairy Festival on Saturday, July 28, from 6 – 10 p.m.

Celebrate nature’s wonders and the magic of imagination with an evening filled with play and fun. Sit down at a Woodland Tea Party, go on a treasure hunt on the Pirate Treasure Trail, visit Mermaid Lagoon and more. Use your imagination to build a fairy home using natural materials and enter it our Fairy Home contest, and wear your favorite mystical creature costume to win fun prizes in our Children’s Costume Contest. The festival will also feature free face painting and children’s crafts.

Admission for the festival is free, but there is a cost for materials. Natural materials bundles to build a fairy house are $5 (while supplies last). Call 956-381-9922 to reserve your bundle.
