The City of Edinburg and the Edinburg Parks and Recreation Department invite the community to a free Halloween Festival happening on Thursday, October 26 at Edinburg Municipal Park.

The 19th Annual Halloween Fall Festival fun starts at 6 p.m. with face painting, hay rides, dance performances, games, give-a-ways and much more. There will also be a costume contest for children and adults starting at 6:15 with the youngest going first. The group competition at 8:30 will wrap up the costume contests for the evening with winners being announced immediately after.

Food vendors will also be on hand with fan favorite foods.

This year once again student organizations from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley will be on hand for the popular tradition of Trunk or Treat. The spooktacular fun runs through 9 p.m. at Edinburg Municipal Park located at 714 South Raul Longoria Road.
