South Texas College Theatre will hold auditions for its November 2017 production of Israel Horovitz’s play The Indian Wants The Bronx on Sept. 20 – 21, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the South Texas College Cooper Center for Communication Arts, located at 3201 W. Pecan Blvd. in McAllen.

All STC and Rio Grande Valley community members, ages 18 and over, are welcome to audition.

In the play, an East Indian man gets lost on his first day in New York as two teenagers find him waiting at a bus stop. He cannot understand English, and the boys have some fun with him that gets out of hand.

A cold reading from the script will be made available at the audition. The director is looking for three men. The Indian Wants The Bronx is scheduled to take the STC Cooper Center for Communication Arts Main Stage on Nov. 16 - 19.
