The Department of Solid Wast Management will be recycling Christmas trees through Jan. 27.

Residents who wish for Christmas trees to be picked up are asked to place them next to the curb for collection. Only natural trees free of decorations, tinsel, flocking and stands will be collected.

The trees can also be dropped off at the Edinburg Sanitary Landfill located at 8601 N. Jasman Rd. Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Wrapping paper, boxes and other recyclable items can be dropped off at the Edinburg Recycling Center located 3102 S. bus. 281 (Closner Boulevard). The center is open from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, weekends 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
